"Black Box" won’t be for everybody. There are times when it will feel a little slow to a generation hyped up on autotune and mega-bass. For the listener with a heart, a soul, and the ability to appreciate powerful poetry and well-placed arrangements, “Black Box” will be a revelation and a jewel in their musical crown". from review by Bobby Jo Valentine
February 2011. Now 35 years old with four kids, singer/songwriter Shoresh releases his debut solo album "Black Box". In the short time since its launch, with no singles released and with only independent PR but mostly by word of mouth, the album has been receiving unprecedented praise and radio airplay from many music dinosaurs around the globe.
Shoresh's "Black Box" is a personal guided tour in to his untamed mind reflecting an uncut view of the confused/happy/sad/lonely/intoxicated/loving/cold moments of a man struggling to make some sense in this era. His music creates more of a feeling than a sound, each note representing a moment in life and each song offering more questions than answers.
This makes “Black Box” a completely unique arrangement from an artist with a unique perspective on life and a testament to the human experience.
Buckle up & enjoy the ride….
